ABOUT  

My name is Jonathan Olson, and I am the founder of Rolling Shutter Productions, an entertainment and marketing production company located in New Hampshire.

My passion for filmmaking and video editing started from a young age. I spent countless days with my friends making fun, creative and silly videos before platforms like YouTube and modern social media became widespread. That early love for creating led me to pursue a career in entertainment. I graduated as Valedictorian from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film in 2014. That same year, Rolling Shutter Productions was born.

Through Rolling Shutter Productions, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of productions and projects, including independent films, television, commercials, real estate, and much more. From 2015 to 2020, I captured over 400 homes for real estate marketing throughout New England, which remains one of my proudest professional achievements. My work in marketing has also led to collaborations with larger clients, creating promotional and sponsored videos that connect with their audiences. Each project has been a chance to grow creatively and continue refining my craft. Additionally, in 2020, I began creating social media content under the name @TrainerJon94, focusing on collectible and tech focused content, sharing my passion for the hobby with others.

This eventually led to an opportunity to work as the full time Video Editor for Pokémon TCG Content Creator @RealBreakingNate on YouTube, starting in February 2021. As of 2026, I have personally edited over 1,000 videos for the channel, assisting in its growth from roughly 600,000 subscribers in 2021 to over 2 million today.

 

It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am truly excited to see where new opportunities will lead!
